Q: After connecting the phone, the sound still comes from the phone speaker instead of the headphones?

A:Some phones require manually enabling the OTG function before audio can be transmitted through the headphones.

Solution:
Go to your phone’s [Settings] → [OTG] option and turn it on.

#2

Q: During a phone call, why does the call audio not come through the headphones?

A:This is usually caused by specific system settings on some phones. When making a call, the system may automatically prioritize the phone earpiece or speaker output.

Solution:
On the call screen, manually select the audio output device and switch it to “Headphones” or “External Device”.

#3

Q: No sound from the headphones / No sound from the microphone?

A: Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

① Check the connection:
Make sure the headphone plug is fully inserted into the phone. If your phone has a protective case, a thick case may prevent the plug from being fully inserted. Remove the case and try again.

② Check the volume:
Make sure the phone volume and the volume buttons on the headphone control are not set to the lowest level or muted.

③ Check the microphone mute button:
Check the microphone mute switch. If the red indicator light next to it is on, the microphone is muted. Press the button once until the indicator light turns off to restore microphone input.

#4

Q:Cannot hear my own voice?

A:Check the monitoring switch:
Make sure the “Monitoring Switch” on the control panel is turned on. When the white indicator light next to the switch is on, real-time microphone monitoring is enabled, allowing you to clearly hear your own singing or voice.

#5

Q:No sound from Bluetooth accompaniment?

A:Check whether the accompaniment phone is connected via Bluetooth.

Check whether the accompaniment phone is playing music.

Check whether the accompaniment phone volume is too low or muted.

#6

Q:Does this headphone support computers or tablets? Can the inline controls work?

A:Compatibility:
The headphones support connection to computers or tablets via the Type-C interface for audio transmission (music playback and recording).

Note:
Due to compatibility differences between systems such as Windows and iPadOS, some inline control functions (such as track switching and sound effect switching) may not work. However, basic audio playback and voice input functions are generally not affected. Thank you for your understanding.

#7

Q:The headphone control panel becomes slightly warm during use. Is this normal?

A:Normal Condition:
Yes, this is completely normal. Please feel free to use it.

Explanation:
The headphones feature a built-in powerful DSP chip. During real-time processing of sound effects algorithms such as reverb and noise reduction, the chip generates normal heat dissipation. This indicates that the device is actively working and will not affect usage safety or product lifespan.

#8

Q: How to solve noise issues when connecting to a computer?

A:It is recommended to connect the device to the USB port on the back of the computer host first.

If noise still occurs, try changing to another USB port.

(The front USB ports of some computer cases use extension cables, which may be more susceptible to internal interference and cause noise.)

#9

Q:Precautions when replacing the headphones

A:When replacing the earphones, make sure the “L” marking on the earphone matches the left side, and the “R” marking matches the right side. Do not install them incorrectly.

When connecting the earphone cable, make sure the cable faces outward. If it faces inward, the earphones may be installed incorrectly.

Align the pins with the two holes on the earphones before inserting.

#10

Q: Sudden static or current noise?

A:If sudden static/current noise occurs, connect the device to another phone for testing. If the issue does not reappear, the cause may be related to the following:

a. The connector was not fully inserted during connection (unplug and reconnect the USB connection).

b. Strong signal interference from nearby incoming phone calls (move away from the interference source).

c. Low phone battery level (keep the phone battery above 20% whenever possible).

#11

Q: What is the headphone removal force (kgf)?

A:The SY016 earphones use a 0.78 mm dual-pin (2PIN) connector between the earphones and cable. There is currently no mandatory unified national standard value for insertion and removal force.

Production line test result:
The measured removal force is within the normal industry reference range.

Industry engineering reference range:
Insertion force: 5N–15N
Removal force: 6N–20N (approximately 0.61kgf–2.04kgf)

The measured value of 1.7kgf is within the standard range.

Q: How to use the device while charging?

A:Solutions for charging while using the headphone audio interface:

a. For phones that support wireless charging, a magnetic wireless power bank can be used to achieve charging while using the device.
(It is recommended to use a portable power bank during charging, as some wall power adapters may introduce power noise interference.)

b. For phones that do not support wireless charging, purchase a separate adapter cable to enable charging while using the device.

c. For iPhone models below iPhone 15, users need to purchase an OTG adapter that supports charging while in use. Connect the charger first, then connect the adapter to the iPhone to use the device while charging.

Reason:
Adding an adapter cable may cause voltage loss, which could result in the iPhone’s power supply capability being insufficient for normal device operation.

The Apple adapter included with the headphone audio interface does not support charging. iPhone models below iPhone 15 require an OTG adapter with charging support to use the device while charging.
