Synido TempoKEY W25 Play: The Standalone MIDI Keyboard That Lets You Make Music Anywhere

Synido is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the TempoKEY W25 Play, a 25-key MIDI keyboard controller designed for musicians who want to create anytime, anywhere—no computer required.

Unlike traditional MIDI controllers that depend on a computer and software to produce sound, the W25 Play features built-in sounds and speakers, offering 128 instrument sounds and 10 drum kits for instant standalone playing. Powered by a rechargeable 3000mAh battery that delivers up to 5 hours of use on a 2-hour charge, and weighing just 2.78 lb with a slim 1.98-inch profile, it's built to move from home studios to lessons, rehearsals, and coffee shops with ease. Wireless MIDI connectivity for compatible laptops, tablets, and smartphones adds further flexibility for production setups.

The W25 Play is also designed to be beginner-friendly. Smart Scale and Smart Chord functions simplify note and chord creation, while Tonic Mode supports scales including Major, Minor, and Dorian using the white keys—helping players build confidence and keep their creativity flowing, even while still learning music theory.

For hands-on control, a clear OLED display provides at-a-glance access to settings and battery status, and the 360° push encoder makes it easy to adjust Notes, CC, PC, MIDI channels, and other parameters directly on the keyboard. Assignable pads, knobs, and function buttons can be customized to match any workflow.

Expressivity is at the core of the W25 Play. Its 25 velocity-sensitive mini keys feature spring-loaded action and extended key travel for responsive playing, while eight RGB drum pads support velocity and pressure sensitivity, aftertouch, Note Repeat, customizable colors, and dual pad banks for up to 16 assignable pad controls. Four velocity curves, an arpeggiator, pitch bend and modulation wheels, octave/semitone transpose, sustain control, MIDI Clock Sync, and adjustable gate length provide even more ways to shape melodies, rhythms, and performances.

Beyond standalone play, the W25 Play integrates smoothly into production setups with USB-C connectivity, 1/8-inch MIDI In/Out/Thru ports, and a 1/4-inch sustain pedal input. Nine assignable endless knobs with dual banks control up to 18 parameters, while dedicated Play, Stop, and Record buttons help streamline supported DAW workflows—making it easy to switch between spontaneous practice and computer-based production.

Built for everyday creativity, the W25 Play features reinforced PC+ABS construction and a matte UV-coated finish that resists scratches and fingerprints, with non-slip silicone bases to keep the keyboard stable during play. From daily practice and music lessons to travel and home-studio sessions, its compact design makes creative expression easier to fit into any routine.

The Synido TempoKEY W25 Play is coming soon. Stay tuned for availability and pricing details.
